ENERGY INDEPENDENCE FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT

SACL has teamed up with experienced NSW solar farm construction teams, for the purpose of accelerating the uptake of renewable energy technologies, specifically in Regional Australia.

We saw that local governments, regional agribusinesses and other organisations needed independent expert advice and access to asset planning and management to help them navigate this opportunity in the energy sector.

With key staff and associates joining the company, SACL now has extensive experience and networks in renewable energy, energy efficiency and carbon abatement practice. We are proud to be regionally based and have the capacity to offer end-to-end energy solutions for local governments and other regional businesses.

Since starting, our highly specialised and experienced team has delivered approximately AUD $35 million worth of projects.

Since 2018, our team has:

• Developed and implemented Renewable Energy Action Plans for multiple regionally based local governments.

• Developed detailed business cases for distributed renewable energy and mid-scale solar arrays for multiple Shire Councils.

SACL is currently sourcing investment funding for a basket of qualified Hybrid Renewable 5MW / 10MWh BESS projects for several Shire Councils in NSW, with a view to increasing their total portfolio value by AUD $95M over the next 2 years.
