RENEWABLE FUELS

SACL licenses Renewable Fuels Technologies to support the production of Bio-Ethanol, Renewable Diesel & Sustainable Aviation Fuel

PROJECTS IN AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND

Mackay Bio-Refinery – Project 1 - JUNE 2026 UPDATE - 250TPD Bagasse and/or HTG™ Savannah Grasses to 2G-Ethanol / Biocrude plant.

SACL is working with Sugarcane Industry Partners, on a scalable, multi stage, bio-refinery using sugarcane bagasse and/or perennial HTG™ Savannah Grasses as the primary feedstock. Stage One requires the use of available bagasse and the development of 500 Hectares of sustainable HTG™ Savannah Grasses. SACL has appointed Australian operators to assist our chosen EPC, to staff up and implement a multi-stage expansion program to increase our feedstock production capacity from 250TPD to 2,500 TPD to produce 180M Litres per annum of Biogenic Ethanol and other biofuel intermediates, at full production within five years. SACL is seeking to co-locate a combined 2G-Ethanol and Raw Lignin facility on a 40-hectare site near Mackay, QLD Australia.

Portland Bio-Refinery – Project 2 - MAR 2026 UPDATE

Stage One 250TPD Sustainable Woodchip to 2G-Ethanol / Biocrude Plant. Stage 2 planned upgrade will increase nameplate capacity to 1,250TPD by year 5.

SACL, working with several “Green Tirangle” eucalypt woodchip feedstock suppliers, is providing the Victorian Management team to assist our chosen EPC, to staff up and implement Stage One of a 22.3M Litres of Ligno-Cellulosic 2G-Ethanol and 21.9M Litres of RD50 Diesel Replacement facility to be located on a 25-hectare site, near the Port of Portland, VIC Australia.

New Zealand Bio-Refinery - Project 3 - MAR 2026 UPDATE

Stage One brownfield conversion of two, 250TPD Sustainable Woodchip to 2G-Ethanol and Biocrude facilities. Each plant will be designed to increase capacity over time, by processing sustainably grown Radiata Pine.

Working with established New Zealand feedstock producers, SACL is providing the management team to assist our chosen EPC, to staff up and implement the annual production of 22.3M Litres of Ligno-Cellulosic 2G-Ethanol and 21.9M Litres of RD50 Diesel Replacement. These intermediate feedstocks will support the local production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel for the NZ domestic market and for export. Each plant will be located on a site near existing sustainable forestary plantations on the North Island of New Zealand. SACL is seeking a FEED study investment of US$8.5M to progress each of these projects to Financial Investment Decision (FID) by end of Q2 2026.

Moree Bio-Refinery – Project 4 - 250TPD HTG™ Savannah Grasses to 2G-Ethanol / Biocrude plant.

Working with experienced NSW regional refinery operators, SACL is providing the Australian management team to assist our chosen EPC, to staff up and implement Y1-Stage One of a 25.3M Litres of Ligno-Cellulosic 2G-Ethanol and 15.1M Litres of RD50 Diesel Replacement production facility to be co-located on a 50-hectare site near Moree, NSW Australia. This partnership with local feedstock growers, enables shared logistics and infrastructure to produce 2G-Ethanol and HEFA intermediate feedstocks for domestic and export markets.

PROJECTS IN ASEAN REGION

Vietnam Bio-Refinery – Project 5 - Stage One 500TPD Rice Straw / Bamboo to 2G-Ethanol / Renewable Diesel plant.

SACL has established a Joint Venture, with Minh Quang Investment Trade and Technology JSC(MQ) in Vietnam, to design, build and operate a large scale bio-refinery using locally sourced, Rice Straw and/or Bamboo as the preferred feedstocks. SACL has appointed MQ as the exclusive Vietnamese operator of the proposed greenfield refinery. The JV will provide the local management team, acting as the EPC, to build and operate a facility capable of producing 60.2M Litres of 2G-Ethanol and 12.8M Litres of RD50 Diesel Replacement and other Renewable Chemicals per annum. SACL has sourced and licensed the 2G-Ethanol / RD technology to the JV and has recommended that all refinery equipment be manufactured in Vietnam, under license, as preassembled modules, under a separate supply contract managed by MQ.

More ASEAN projects to be announced soon…
