Portland Bio-Refinery – Project 1 - USD $470M 250KTA Sustainable Woodchip to Ethanol / SAF Plant
SACL, working with Australian feedstock partners, Midway Limited, is providing the Australian Management team to assist our chosen EPC, to staff up and implement Stage One of a 18M US GGE SAF Cellulosic Bio-Refinery, to be located on a 20-hectare site near Myamyn, 45Klm north of the Port of Portland, VIC Australia.
Moree Bio-Refinery – Project 2 - USD $554M combined Bio-Methanol and 250KTA HEXAS™ Savannah Grasses to Ethanol / SAF Plant
Working with Australian partners, AusBioEnergy, the NSW State Government and the Australian Federal Government, SACL is providing an Australian Management team to assist our chosen EPC, to staff up and implement Stage One of a 18M US GGE SAF Cellulosic Bio-Refinery, to be co-located on a 50-hectare site near Moree, NSW Australia. This local partnership enables shared logistics and infrastructure to produce Bio-Methanol and SAF for export.
Mackay Bio-Refinery – Project 3 - USD $1.4B 750KTA HEXAS™ Savannah Grasses to Ethanol / SAF Plant
SACL is working with Australian Partners, Apeirogon Group, on a scalable, multi stage, bio-refinery using perennial HEXAS™ Savannah Grasses as feedstock. Stage One requires the development of a 2,500 Hectares of sustainable, HEXAS™ Savannah Grasses. SACL has appointed Australian Operators to assist our chosen EPC, to staff up and implement Stage One of a 92M US GGE SAF Bio-Refinery and a Hydrogen + Biogenic CO₂ to Methanol plant to be co-located on a 20-hectare site near Mackay, QLD Australia.

Vietnam Bio-Refinery – Project 4 - US$1.4B 750KTA Woodchip to Ethanol / SAF Plant
SACL will form part of a Special Purpose Vehicle, Joint Venture, with MQ International in Vietnam, to design, build and operate a larger scale bio-refinery using locally sourced, plantation grown, Acacia Eucalypt hardwood woodchip and or perennial Savannah Grasses as the preferred feedstocks. The SACL / MQ International JV will act as the appointed Vietnam Operator of the proposed greenfield refinery and will provide the local management team to assist our chosen EPC, to staff up and implement, Stage One of a 92M US GGE SAF Bio-Refinery. SACL sourced and manages the SAF technology licenses from Comstock Fuels Corporation in the USA and has recommended that the plant will be manufactured in preassembled modules under a separate contract with Morimatsu, Japan.
